Glass Fusion Made Easy!

Heard of Glass Fusion?
Interested in understanding what glass fusing is and how YOU can do it!? Visit Quiggly's and we'll show you how simple it is! You can make trays, bowls, plates, jewelry (pendants, earrings, bracelets), figurines, nightlights, magnets, beads, gems and on and on...

What is it?
When we fire glass in a kiln, it flattens first, then we shape it over a mold (if necessary). Creating a design in glass is as simple as piecing together a colored glass mosaic while keeping in mind a few basic principles concerning how glass melts, moves and reflects light.

Huh?
Doesn't sound too simple? Well, it's simply fun to play with the colored glass, specialty glass (made with cool designs), dichroic glass and a wide variety of glass frit, noodles, rods, stringers and cut ups!

I already know how...
Once you've had some practice, you can play with advanced techniques including: fusing with metal inclusions, multiple-firings, trapping bubbles,slumping, drapping, warping, fused mosaics and more. We could even play with our glass ring saw and grinder! Wicked Cool!

And then what?
Once you complete your glass artwork, we will fire your piece flat, then fire it a second time (if requested), to "slump" the piece into its final shape. You'll be amazed at how cool, awesome and professional it looks! This is why we love the fired arts!

Walk-In Glass Fusion:
Glass Fusion is now OPEN for WALK-INS (call first please)! We still offer beginner classes in Glass Fusion at Ladies Night. If you'd like to walk-in and fuse glass, please call us ahead of time and we will let you know if we have staff on hand to walk you through the process! No experience is necessary to fuse a wonderful work of art! Projects start at $15 + supply charge (typical-sized projects run $25+).
